Cuddalore Port railway station is close to the beach. Trains via Chidambaram.

Tips for Visitors
Visit at sunrise (5:30–6:30 AM) for the most beautiful light and to see fishing boats head out.
Combine with Pichavaram Mangroves (8 km) for a full-day coastal and nature experience.
Avoid swimming — currents near Cuddalore harbour can be strong. The beach is best for walks.
Try the fresh seafood at stalls near the harbour — the fish fry and prawn curry are exceptional.
