Vadalur is a small, sacred town in Cuddalore District, Tamil Nadu — revered as the home of Saint Ramalinga Swamigal (Vallalar), one of the greatest spiritual figures in Tamil history.
In 1872, Vallalar consecrated the Sathya Gnana Sabai — the Hall of True Knowledge — where an eternal flame burns as a symbol of the formless Divine. His teachings of universal compassion, the Jeeva Karunya philosophy, and his monumental Thiruvarutpa continue to inspire millions worldwide.
